Madrid Taxpayer and U.S. Citizen Assistance Day Wednesday, March 5, 2014<\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n
The U.S. Embassy will host a Taxpayer and Citizen Assistance Day on March 5 at the Instituto Internacional<\/em> (C\/Miguel Angel 8<\/strong>).\u00a0 It is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
IRS representatives will give a presentation covering a range of\u00a0 topics affecting 2013 tax returns.\u00a0 Following the seminar, one-on-one consultations (15-minute maximum) will be available; sign-up sheets will be available at the entrance and attendees will be seen on a first come-first serve basis.<\/p>\n
Representatives from the Federal Benefits Unit will discuss social security and other federal benefits and also be available for consultation on a first come first serve basis.\u00a0 Consular representatives will be available to answer questions relating to U.S. citizen services and visas.<\/p>\n
Tax assistance information pamphlets, forms, IRS publications, and other handouts will be available.<\/p>\n
