At #TESOLSPAINBurgos2025, we set out to gather voices from across the ELT community—teachers, researchers, and trainers—creating a space where ideas could be exchanged, connections strengthened, and inspiration renewed. TESOL-SPAIN 2025 took place in the historic city of Burgos, a setting where tradition and innovation meet, inviting reflection and fresh perspectives on our profession.
Our theme this year, “Roots and Horizons in the World of ELT,” is both a tribute and a call to action. It honours the foundations of our practice while encouraging us to look ahead, to explore new paths in language teaching and learning. We believe that ELT is not merely about techniques or content, but about growth, curiosity, and human connection—an evolving journey that continues to shape and be shaped by the people at its heart.
