Madrid Taxpayer and U.S. Citizen Assistance Day Wednesday, March 5, 2014
The U.S. Embassy will host a Taxpayer and Citizen Assistance Day on March 5 at the Instituto Internacional (C/Miguel Angel 8). It is free and open to the public.
IRS representatives will give a presentation covering a range of topics affecting 2013 tax returns. Following the seminar, one-on-one consultations (15-minute maximum) will be available; sign-up sheets will be available at the entrance and attendees will be seen on a first come-first serve basis.
Representatives from the Federal Benefits Unit will discuss social security and other federal benefits and also be available for consultation on a first come first serve basis. Consular representatives will be available to answer questions relating to U.S. citizen services and visas.
Tax assistance information pamphlets, forms, IRS publications, and other handouts will be available.
